On December 3, Gao Feng Advisory's CEO Dr. Edward Tse spoke at the TFWA (Tax Free World Associatuon) China Reborn Conference on "The Changing China Context amid the Pandemic. " China is recovering from the pandemic and the travel and tourism sector is being uplifted. Even though it has not returned to the pre-pandemic level, it is doing better than most other countries. China’s dual circulation economic policy will also drive new demand patterns of Chinese consumers in travel and tourism both within China and between China and the rest of the world. The recently signed RCEP will reshape the Asia trade flow and travel and tourism patterns in a significant manner over time. Travel retail companies need to reevaluate their strategies accordingly.
